Nuclear pore complexes mediate active transport of protein and RNA through the nuclear envelope. Nucleoporins are glycoproteins that contain N-acetylglucosamine residues O-linked to serine and possibly threonine. They are localized to the central ‘transporter' region of the pore complex.
Source:Recombinant corresponding to aa1-522 of human NUP62 containing F-X-F-G repeats and a N-terminus T7 tag expressed in E. coli (NP_057637.1, 7705355, P37198).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and MS. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months.
