Definition of Unit:One unit is the amount of enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of one nanomole of arachidonic acid to 12- hydroperoxy eicosoteraenoic acid (12-HPETE) over 5 minutes incubation at RT.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt.
