特徴

• Okadaic Acid, a marine toxin, polyether derivative produced by dinoflagellates, is a potent, cell-permeable, specific inhibitor of PP-1 and PP-2 serine/threonine-specific protein phosphatases in a variety of cell types. Salt form of okadaic acid, with somewhat greater stability than the free acid when stored in organic solvents.
• Source: Prorocentrum concavum
• Solubility: Soluble in DMSO or ethanol.
• Storage and Stability:Light Sensitive. Store at -20°C. Stable as a powder for at least 12 months. Stable as a liquid for 6 months.
• WARNING: Highly irritant to skin and mucous membranes
• SPECIAL HAZARD: TUMOR PROMOTER. Gloves and mask should be worn when using this compound. Care must be taken to prevent contact through all routes of exposure.
