Mouse 8-Oxoguanine DNA Glycosylase 1 (mOGG1; 345 aa) is involved in the excision of 7, 8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine produced as a result of DNA damage. This gene has been localized on human chromosome 3p25. Several forms of hOGG protein have been cloned differing in lengths (351-424 aa) (refs 1). An 18 aa peptide close to the N-terminus of mouse OGG1.
仕様
Size:100ug
Source Antigen:Mouse synthetic peptide
Grade:Highly Purified
Purity:Highly purified
Form:Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Specificity:83% homology with rat. No significant sequence homology exist with hOGG1. Control peptide, because of its low mol size (<3kD), is not recommended for Western. It should be used in ELISA, Dot Blot and for antibody blocking to confirm specificity of antibodies
