Restriction Enzyme Buffer for S0440: ScaI and for S0549: SdaI (Sse8387I)
Form:Supplied as a liquid in 37mM Tris-acetate, pH 7.0, 15mM magnesium acetate, 150mM potassium acetate, 0.1mg/ml BSA
Concentration:Supplied in a 10X concentrated stock. Dilute to 1X or 2X before use.
Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C . For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note:This buffer contains BSA. In order to avoid the risk of bacterial growth, do not store buffer containing BSA at +4°C for periods longer than one week. If buffer is to be stored at +4°C it should be aliquoted into small portions and the main stock should be kept at -20°C.
