特徴

• Erythropoietin, ~34-36kD, normally produced in the kidney and liver, is the principle hormone involved in the regulation of erythrocyte differentiation and the maintenance of a physiological level of circulating erythrocyte mass. Indicated for treatment of neutropenia or anemia secondary to ZDV- or Ganciclovir-induced bone marrow suppression (most effective in patients with endogenous EPO levels < 500IU/ml).
• Specific Activity:1.2x10e5 units/mg
• Assay Used to Measure Bioactivity:Proliferation of reticulocytes in mouse blood is method used for unit measurement and calibrated to the World Health Organization (WHO) standard.
• Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
