According to the ISOBM-TD-1 workshop, CA125 contains three antigenic domains: A-domain (Oc125), B-domain (M11), C-Domain (Ov197). The CA-125 antigen is present on a mucin-like glycoprotein of >200kD and is detectable on the apical surface of normal endometrium and endocervix.
Known Contaminants:CA15-3 (<1%) (Elecsys)CA19-9 (<1%) (Elecsys)
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested
Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:.May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C.
