Recombinant HBV core antigen (HBcAg), aa1-183, from HBV genotype expressing ayw surface antigen. Deleted DNA binding domain. Cloned from HBV 320 genome. Reacts strongly to human HBV positive serum. Under non-reducing conditions, forms native core particles.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
