HSV-2 gG-specific and unique sequences (amino acids 343-649), not present in HSV-1. This recombinant protein of 48.7kD consists of human superoxide dismutase (SOD) conjugated to the amino terminal region of HSV-2 gG.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at -20°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months
