Cell Adhesion Assay:Thaw at 4°C and keep on ice during use. Dilute E0275 with sterile serum-free medium to ~20ug/ml. Add directly to culture vessels to achieve 5-10ug/cm2
Allow the matrix proteins to adsorb to the vessel for 1 hour at 37ºC or overnight at 4ºC prior to adding to a cell.
Neurite Outgrowth Assay:ECL was tested at 5ug/cm2 and found to promote neurite outgrowth using PC12 rat pheochromocytoma cells.
Note: Color variations from yellow to dark red may occur in frozen or thawed vials of ECL These color variations are caused by the interaction of CO2 with the buffer and phenol red present in the product. Such color variations are normal and do not affect the efficacy of the product.
Sterility:Negative for the presence of bacteria, fungi and mycoplasma.
Storage:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
