Restriction Enzyme Buffer A, 10X, is specially designed for use in double digestions.
Form (1X Buffer Compostition):Supplied as a liquid containing 33mM Tris-acetate, pH 7.9, 10mM magnesium acetate, 66mM potassium acetate, 0.1mg/ml BSA.
Concentration:Supplied as a 10X concentrated stock. Dilute to 1X or 2X before use.
Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C . For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note:This buffer contains BSA. In order to avoid the risk of bacterial growth, do not store buffer containing BSA at 4°C for periods longer than one week. If buffer is to be stored at 4°C it should be aliquoted into small portions and the main stock should be kept at -20°C.
