特徴

• Antibiotic consisting of a hydrogenated form of streptomycin; used against tuberculosis and tularemia and Gram-negative organisms. Both dihydrostreptomycin and streptomycin are used for treatment of bacterial infections in food-producing animals. Dihydrostreptomycin is formed by reduction of streptomycin. As a result, pharmacokinetic properties, toxicological profiles, and spectrum of antimicrobial and biological activity of the two compounds are similar.
