特徴

• Amies formulated a medium for transport of microorganisms using a balanced salt solution. Amies Broth with Charcoal is a non-nutritional, phosphate buffered type medium used to maintain the viability of microorganisms without a significant increase in growth. Charcoal was added to the formulation to neutralize the toxic effects of a fatty acids that are toxic to microorganisms. This medium is recommended for throat, vaginal, and wound samples.
