特徴

• Tryptase is classified as a hydrolase, serine protease or serine endopeptidase. It is found in mast cell granules. Acts on peptide bonds and displays a high affinity for heparin. Exhibits preferential cleavage of Arg, Lys. Tryptase is not inhibited by alpha-1 proteinase inhibitors or alpha-2 macroglobulin. Involved in allergic reactions and anti-histamine release.

• Unit Definition of Activity:One unit will hydrolyze one micromole of N-Benzoyl-Phe-Val-Arg-pNA per minute at pH 8.3 and 25°C
• Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
