特徴

• Human interleukin-8 (IL-8) is an 8.4kD protein containing 72 amino acid residues. It promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. The 72 amino acid IL-8 is the predominant form secreted by monocytes and lymphocytes.

• Biological Activity:Human IL-8 produces chemotaxis over a wide concentration range in an assay using human peripheral blood neutrophils. Significant chemotaxis was achieved using a concentration of 10-100ng/ml.
• Responding Cells (partial list): Neutrophils, T-Lymphocytes
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a concentration ≥100ug/ml. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
