特徴
- Standard medium used for inducing sporulation of yeast. Yeast cells will undergo several divisions on this medium. Sporulation occurs after 3-5 days of incubation. Nutrient suplements are required for sporulation of auxotrophic diploids on on Sporulation Medium. Supplement at the level of 25% of those used for most complete media should be added when componding the medium. Alternatively, supplements can be spread on teh surface of the Sporulation Medium plates. The liquid should be allowed to dry thoroughly onto the agar before inoculating with yeast strains.
