- It is reported enhance the cytotoxic effects of radiation in cancer cell lines and potentiate the effects of etoposide and doxorubicin.
- NU 7441 is also reported to enhance the efficiency of CRISPR-Cas9 mediated homology-directed repair （HDR） 2 to 4 fold and decrease nonhomologous end-joining （NHEJ） frequency by 2 fold.
