Zinc functions as a cofactor for numerous enzymes, nuclear factors, and hormones and as an intra- and intercellular signal ion.
Members of the zinc transporter (ZNT)/SLC30 subfamily of the cation diffusion facilitator family, such as SLC30A7, permit cellular efflux of zinc (Seve et al., 2004 [PubMed 15154973]).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
