T-box transcription factor that plays an essential role in the determination of the fate of axial stem cells: neural vs mesodermal.
Acts in part by down-regulating, a specific enhancer (N1) of SOX2, to inhibit neural development.
Seems to play also an essential role in left/right axis determination and acts through effects on Notch signaling around the node as well as through an effect on the morphologyand motility of the nodal cilia (By similarity).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
