- Deoxycytidyl transferase involved in DNA repair.
- Transfers a dCMP residue from dCTP to the 3'-end of a DNA primer in a template-dependent reaction.
- May assist in the first step in the bypass of abasic lesions by the insertion of a nucleotide opposite the lesion.
- Required for normal induction of mutations by physical and chemical agents.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
