Core component of the RAG complex, a multiprotein complex that mediates the DNA cleavage phase during V(D)J recombination.
V(D)J recombination assembles a diverse repertoire of immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor genes in developing B and T-lymphocytes through rearrangement of different V (variable), in some cases D (diversity), and J (joining) gene segments.
DNA cleavage by the RAG complex occurs in 2 steps.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
