Induces proliferation, migration and fenestration (the formation of membrane discontinuities) in capillary endothelial cells derived from endocrine glands.
Has little or no effect on a variety of other endothelial and non-endothelial cell types.
Induces proliferation and differentiation, but not migration, of enteric neural crest cells.
Directly influences neuroblastoma progression by promoting the proliferation and migration of neuroblastoma cells.
Positively regulates PTGS2 expression and prostaglandin synthesis.
May play a role in placentation.
May play a role in normal and pathological testis angiogenesis.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
