- Probable RNA helicase.
- Required for RNA-mediated gene silencing by theRNA-induced silencing complex (RISC).
- Required for both miRNA-mediatedtranslational repression and miRNA-mediated cleavage of complementarymRNAs by RISC.
- Also required for RNA-directed transcription and replication of the human hepatitis delta virus (HDV).
- Interacts with small capped HDV RNAs derived from genomic hairpin structures that mark the initiation sites of RNAdependent HDV RNA transcription.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
