Substrate-specific adapter of a BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin ligasecomplex required for chromosome alignment and localization of PLK1 atkinetochores.
The BCR(KLHL22) ubiquitin ligase complex mediatesmonoubiquitination of PLK1, leading to PLK1 dissociation from phosphoreceptor proteins and subsequent removal from kinetochores, allowing silencing of the spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC) and chromosome segregation.
Monoubiquitination of PLK1 does not lead to PLK1 degradation.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
