Essential sperm cell-surface protein required for fertilization by acting as aligand for IZUMO1R/JUNO receptor on egg.
The IZUMO1:IZUMO1R/JUNOinteraction is a necessary adhesion event between sperm and egg that isrequired for fertilization but is not sufficient for cell fusion.
The ligand-receptor interaction probably does not act as a membrane 'fusogen'.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
