Integrin ITGAM/ITGB2 is implicated in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes as well as in mediating the uptake of complement-coated particles.
It is identical with CR-3, the receptor for the iC3b fragment of the third complement component.
It probably recognizes the R-G-D peptide in C3b.
Integrin ITGAM/ITGB2 is also a receptor for fibrinogen, factor X and ICAM1.
It recognizes P1 and P2 peptides of fibrinogen gamma chain.
Regulates neutrophil migration
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Immunoflourescence: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
