Aminopeptidase that plays a central role in peptide trimming, a step required for the generation of most HLA class I-binding peptides.
Peptide trimming is essential to customize longer precursor peptides to fit them to the correct length required for presentation on MHC class I molecules.
Preferentially hydrolyzes the basic residues Arg and Lys.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
