Functions during spermatogenesis as a chaperone for a range of client proteins that are important for sperm adhesion onto the egg zona pellucida and for subsequent penetration of the zona pellucida.
Required for normal sperm migration from the uterus into the oviduct.
Required for normal male fertility.
Binds calcium ions (By similarity).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
