CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat), is an adaptive immune system that provides protection against mobile genetic elements (viruses, transposable elements and conjugative plasmids).
CRISPR clusters contain sequences complementary to antecedent mobile elements and target invading nucleic acids.
CRISPR clusters are transcribed and processed into CRISPR RNA (crRNA).
Cas3 plus Cascade participate in CRISPR interference, the third stage of CRISPR immunity.
The N-terminal domain (residues 6-260) acts as a ssDNA endonuclease, has no activity on dsDNA.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
