Required for normal endothelial cell sprouting and migration in the forebrain and neural tube (By similarity).
Has a major role in establishing the blood-brain barrier (By similarity).
Binds to the glycosaminoglycans heparin, heparin sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sulfate.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
