L-1 is a inflammatory cytokine produced by activated macrophages.
IL-1 is active in the inflammatory reaction and in driving Th1 and Th17 inflammatory responses.
IL-1 acts on Th cells and causes them to secrete IL-2, which induces T cells to undergo mitosis and clonal expansion (Straw Barbara, Diseases of Swine -9th edition).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
