Human Peroxiredoxin I is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides.
The encoded protein may play an antioxidant protective role in cells, and may contribute to the antiviral activity of CD8(+) T-cells.
This protein may have a proliferative effect and play a role in cancer development or progression.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detected Peroxiredoxin 1 in 10ug of DU145 cell lysate
Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 detected Peroxiredoxin 1 in HeLa cells
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin):1:250-1:1000 detected Peroxiredoxin 1 in human kidney, human small intestine, and human cerebellum tissues
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
