Allophycocyanin, Crosslinked, Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) is prepared from crosslinked allophycocyanin (APC) and an affinity purified goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody.
Since this phycobiliprotein is optimally excited at 633 nm, it can also be excited at 594 nm; therefore, it can be used with samples simultaneously labeled with Texas Red dye or Alexa Fluor 594 dye without the need of a second excitation source.
APC can be used in flow cytometry and imaging applications and is more photostable than Cy5 conjugates.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Flow Cytometry: 1-10ug/mlImmunofluorescence: 4ug/mlImmunocytochemistry: 4ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
