- STXBP1 (syntaxin binding protein 1) encodes a syntaxin-binding protein.
- The encoded protein appears to play a role in release of neurotransmitters via regulation of syntaxin, a transmembrane attachment protein receptor.
- Mutations in STXBP1 have been associated with infantile epileptic encephalopathy-4.
- Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000ELISA: 1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
