UBA6 (ubiquitin like modifier activating enzyme 6) is a protein coding gene.
Among its related pathways are protein ubiquitination and class I MHC mediated antigen processing and presentation.
Modification of proteins with ubiquitin or ubiquitin-like proteins controls many signaling networks and requires a ubiquitin-activating enzyme (E1), a ubiquitin conjugating enzyme (E2), and a ubiquitin protein ligase (E3).
UBA6 is an E1 enzyme that initiates the activation and conjugation of ubiquitin-like proteins.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
