TIMP4 (TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 4) belongs to the TIMP gene family.
The proteins encoded by the gene family are inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix.
The secreted, netrin domain-containing protein encoded by this gene is involved in regulation of platelet aggregation and recruitment and may play role in hormonal regulation and endometrial tissue remodeling.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
