- TGFBR3 (transforming growth factor beta receptor 3) encodes the transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta type III receptor.
- The encoded receptor is a membrane proteoglycan that often functions as a co-receptor with other TGF-beta receptor superfamily members.
- Ectodomain shedding produces soluble TGFBR3, which may inhibit TGFB signaling.
- Decreased expression of this receptor has been observed in various cancers.
- Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for TGFBR3.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
