SGK3 is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and encodes a phosphoprotein with a PX (phox homology) domain.
Serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase family member 3 phosphorylates several target proteins and has a role in neutral amino acid transport and activation of potassium and chloride channels.
Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
