The protein encoded by REM1 is a GTPase and member of the RAS-like GTP-binding protein family.
The encoded protein is expressed in endothelial cells, where it promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and morphological changes in the cells.
REM1 (RRAD and GEM like GTPase 1) is a protein coding gene.
Diseases associated with REM1 include epileptic encephalopathy, childhood-onset and nominal aphasia.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
