Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (rho family, small GTP binding protein Rac1) encoded by RAC1 is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins.
Members of this superfamily appear to regulate a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization, and the activation of protein kinases.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for RAC1.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
