特徴
- OPN1SW belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, opsin subfamily.
- It encodes the blue cone pigment gene which is one of three types of cone photoreceptors responsible for normal color vision.
- Defects in OPN1SW are the cause of tritan color blindness (tritanopia).
- Affected individuals lack blue and yellow sensory mechanisms while retaining those for red and green.
- Defective blue vision is characteristic.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Wesstern Blot: 1:500-1:2000ELISA: 1:5000-1:20,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
