NAV1 (neuron navigator 1) belongs to the neuron navigator family and is expressed predominantly in the nervous system.
The encoded protein contains coiled-coil domains and a conserved AAA domain characteristic for ATPases associated with a variety of cellular activities.
NAV1 is similar to unc-53, a Caenorhabditis elegans gene involved in axon guidance.
The exact function of NAV1 is not known, but it is thought to play a role in in neuronal development and regeneration.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:40,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
