NDUFS2 (NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit S2) is a protein coding gene.
Diseases associated with NDUFS2 include mitochondrial complex I deficiency and Leigh syndrome with Leukodystrophy.
Among its related pathways are metabolism and respiratory electron transport, ATP synthesis by chemiosmotic coupling, and heat production by uncoupling proteins.
The protein encoded by NDUFS2 is a core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (complex I).
