NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 4 encoded by NDUFA4 belongs to the complex I 9kD subunit family.
Mammalian complex I of mitochondrial respiratory chain is composed of 45 different subunits.
This protein has NADH dehydrogenase activity and oxidoreductase activity.
It transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain.
The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:10,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
