Musculin encoded by MSC is a transcriptional repressor capable of binding an E-box element either as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with E2A in vitro.
Musculin also forms heterodimers with E2A proteins in vivo.
Musculin is capable of inhibiting the transactivation capability of E47, an E2A protein, in mammalian cells.
MSC is a downstream target of the B-cell receptor signal transduction pathway.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:10,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
