MED21 (mediator complex subunit 21) encodes a member of the mediator complex subunit 21 family.
The encoded protein interacts with the human RNA polymerase II holoenzyme and is involved in transcriptional regulation of RNA polymerase II transcribed genes.
A pseudogene of MED21 is located on chromosome 8.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
