Studies of the mouse ortholog suggest that LY96 may be involved in endotoxin neutralization.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
LY96 (Lymphocyte Antigen 96) is a protein coding gene.
Diseases associated with LY96 include intestinal botulism and wound botulism.
Among its related pathways are activated TLR4 signalling and diseases of immune system.
