LRRK2 is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family and encodes a protein with an ankryin repeat region, a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain, a kinase domain, a DFG-like motif, a RAS domain, a GTPase domain, a MLK-like domain, and a WD40 domain.
Leucine rich repeat kinase 2 is present largely in the cytoplasm but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with Parkinson disease-8.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin).
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:50-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
