CDH6 encodes a member of the cadherin superfamily.
Cadherins are membrane glycoproteins that mediate homophilic cell-cell adhesion and play critical roles in cell differentiation and morphogenesis.
The cadherin 6 is a type II cadherin and may play a role in kidney development as well as endometrium and placenta formation.
Decreased expression of this gene may be associated with tumor growth and metastasis.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
