Cytochrome c-type heme lyase encoded by HCCS is an enzyme that covalently links a heme group to the apoprotein of cytochrome c.
Defects in HCCS are a cause of microphthalmia syndromic type 7 (MCOPS7).
Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for HCCS.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
